You had to know. It’s a sort of research, we can say, people out here had their own research activity. There was no professors, specialists, just what they saw and what they experienced, and what they made out of that, taught to each others, warned each other, informed each other. It was a fantastic knowledge locally here about the worst, maybe the most dangerous area for sailing ships.
