Mount Whitney

While I was up there we went by another group that was up there, that was taking a rest. One young man had thrown himself down the edge, you know right on the edge of the cliff to rest, you know, very ostentatiously, just like this. And my reaction was to… I was physically like–, it made me feel ill and I wanted the safety, I wanted to get back further, just seeing him that close made me want to get further away from the edge, I could not be closer to the edge.
